New year is just around the corner and if rumors are to be believed, Xiaomi is set to launch Redmi Note 4 in India, successor to one of their most successful phones in the region.
Redmi Note 4 was launched in China back in August. The phone features a 5.5 inch Full HD IPS LCD display,
comes in 2GB/16GB and 3GB/64GB memory configuration, and packs in a large 4100mAh battery, just like its predecessor. The device runs on MIUI 8 , a skinned version of android marshmallow(6.0). Redmi Note 4 comes with 13MP rear camera with Phase Detection AutoFocus(PDAF) and 5MP front facing camera.
In terms of design, Redmi Note 4 follows its predecessor but weighs 11 grams more at 175 grams.
In China, Redmi Note 4 was launched with a Mediatek Helio X20, a deca-core processor but
Xiaomi is expected to launch Redmi Note 4 in India with Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 which is based on octa-core architecture consisting of eight Cortex A53 cores.
There is no information regarding the pricing of the device but in China Redmi Note 4 sells for RMB899(Rs.8999) for 2GB/16GB model and RMB1199(Rs11999) for 3GB/64GB model. Right now, we can just speculate about the pricing. There is still no confirmation from Xiaomi on this, so we will just have to wait and see which variants are
released in India and how Xiaomi marks the pricing as the company is famous for pricing its products very aggressively.
