Renders and images for Moto G5 and G5 Plus have been leaking for a while now and now we have full specification for both the models, courtesy of electronics dealer K-Tronix.
Moto G5 and G5 Plus differ from each other in almost every aspect. G5 sports a 5″ display, slightly smaller than 5.2″ of G5 Plus. Base model for G5 starts at 32Gb and at 64Gb for G5 Plus. While there might be higher memory versions available but base model of both devices boast only 2Gb of RAM.
One of the major difference lies in the processor that come inside these smartphones. Moto G5 comes with Snapdragon 430, an octa-core processor clocked at 1.4Ghz while Moto G5 Plus boasts Snapdragon 625, an octa-core processor clocked at 2.1 Ghz. It is noticeably the most significant difference as these two processors have very different performance and SD625 definitely lies ahead. Moto G5 Plus comes with 12MP rear facing camera with “dual autofocus pixels” which is supposed to improve the focus speed of the camera.
Anyway, we can’t wait to see these devices. Let’s hope for the best for Motorola this time.
